Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each assigned patient.
• Plan the nursing care required, including spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs.
• Ensure the plan of care is carried out through performance or leadership of supervised personnel and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered.
• Modify and deliver care specific to the age, growth, and development of patients according to the unit scope of services.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 1 year of RN Acute experience is preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: $41.00 - $53.10 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
