Per Diem Registered Nurse- NICU, Nights

Job Summary

Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of NICU experience, a current RN license from New York State, and a National Registry of Emergency Nurses (NRP) certification. This position requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity, as well as exposure to various working conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: Two (2) years of college with general knowledge of a specialized or technical field normally associated with an A.A. or A.S. degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
• Licenses: Current license issued by New York State to practice as a registered nurse.
• Certifications: NRP required.

Working Conditions

• Significant manual skills / motor coordination and finger dexterity.
• Significant occupational risk.
• May exert up to 50 lbs. force.
• Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.

Pay

$48.49-73.58 per hour
