Per Diem Registered Nurse

We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem opportunities in hospital settings within the Hampton Roads area. As a PCU RN, your responsibilities include delivering safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care environmentassessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditionsadministering medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician ordersmonitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipmentrecognizing and responding to patient condition changescollaborating with healthcare teamsmaintaining accurate electronic medical recordsadhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standardsproviding patient and family educationadapting to different hospital environments and unit needs Qualifications include an active Virginia RN license, a minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years, current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, a QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past year, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on hospital requirements.
