Per Diem Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Telemetry, providing per diem staffing in hospital settings. Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care; assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment; recognize patient condition changes; collaborate with healthcare teams; maintain accurate medical records; follow policies and safety standards; provide patient and family education; adapt to various hospital environments. Qualifications: Active Virginia RN license; minimum 2 years recent PCU experience within past 4 years; current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association); recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on assignment. Key Skills: Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, teamwork, adaptability, and documentation skills.
