Per diem / PRN nursing position for an RN in the Emergency Department at a facility in Toledo, Ohio. Shift type: 12-hour shifts, days or nights. Start date: September 28, 2026; ongoing duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate interventions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses according to policy
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Current RN license in the state of California (or eligibility for licensure)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• PALS certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Current influenza vaccination
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
