About the role
Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for ongoing employment at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed
- Assess and document patient conditions accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience in emergency department setting preferred
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and nights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience
