• Labor & Delivery nursing care
• Episiotomy/incisional care
• Foley catheter insertion and management
• HELLP Syndrome management
• Neonatal Resuscitation
• NST (Non Stress Tests)
• Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management
• IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
• Administration of blood and blood products
• Antepartum care
• Antihypertensives administration
• Assist with high risk delivery
• Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
• Assist with vaginal delivery
• Cesarean Section circulation
• Diabetes mellitus management
• Drawing venous blood
• Epidural Anesthesia management
• Forceps/vacuum extraction assistance
• Fundus/lochia/perineum care
• General Anesthesia management
• Hemorrhage/shock management
• High Risk Antepartum care
• Insulin drips management
• IV conscious sedation
• Magnesium Sulfate therapy
• Multiple Births/Multiple Gestation care
• Opioids management
• Pain assessment and management
• Postpartum Hemorrhage management
• Pregnancy induced hypertension management
• Premature Rupture of Membranes management
• Prostaglandins administration
• Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
• Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• C-Section recovery
• Reflex checks/edema assessment/clonus
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Sterile vaginal exam
• Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• Use of infusion pumps/drips/IV monitoring
• Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring

• Vaccine Administration

Requirements

• 1 Year experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• VA License or Compact License (application process takes 2 weeks or less)

• 1 shift of 12 hours
