Shift Details
- 9-hour shifts from 8am to 5pm
- Flexible scheduling options available
- Schedules posted at least 2 months in advance
Responsibilities
- Complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
- Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical assessments
- Order appropriate laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
- Implement emergency measures and treatment for conditions like cardiac arrest, shock, etc.
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status, management, and treatment
- Provide instructions and guidance on health care and promotion
Requirements
- AANP or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred)
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Able to multi-task and work independently
