About the role
In this per-diem, adult inpatient position, you will provide high-quality acute care for patients at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia Campus and Allen Hospital. The role includes a weekday and weekend rotation with a minimum requirement of 2 days (15 hours) per month and 1 weekend shift per quarter. Ability to work full weekdays and/or weekend days will be considered. You will also have opportunities to teach part-time in our renowned university programs and help build on our elite reputation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, acute care physical therapy for adult inpatients.
- Participate in weekday and weekend rotations as required.
- Teach part-time in university programs (opportunity available).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per month, including 1 weekend shift per quarter.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current NYS PT licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adult acute care experience – 2 years' minimum.
- Cardiopulmonary experience.
- Orthopedic experience.
- Neurological experience.

Pay
Salary Range: $73.50/hourly.
