Per Diem-Physical Therapist | NYP-CUIMC and Allen Hospital

About the Role

Physical Therapists at NewYork-Presbyterian use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies tailored to meet our patients' individual needs, offering the highest quality care in a wide range of pediatric sub-specialties, no matter how simple or complex. This is a per-diem, adult inpatient position with both weekday and weekend rotation at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia Campus and Allen Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, acute care for patients.
• Pursue opportunities to teach part-time in our renowned university programs.
• Help build on our elite reputation in physical therapy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per month, and 1 weekend shift per quarter.
• Ability to work full weekdays and/or weekend days.
• Availability to work 2 days/month and the weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current NYS PT licensure.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Preferred Criteria

• Adult acute care experience – 2 years' minimum.
• Cardiopulmonary experience.
• Orthopedic experience.
• Neurological experience.

Pay

$73.50/Hourly
