Per Diem Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview: A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations in a mental health and specialty pharmacy setting under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Key responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, processing medication orders, and performing clerical duties to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New Mexico and obtain National Certification within 90 days if not already certified. Reliable transportation, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work onsite are required. Preferred qualifications include prior technician experience and certification. Key Duties Filling prescriptions and making them ready for verificationOrdering, receiving, and storing pharmacy suppliesVerifying medication stock and maintaining inventory recordsAssisting with pharmacy functions to ensure compliancePerforming clerical tasks and communicating professionally Compensation ranges from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
