About the role

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. Our goal is to make you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager.

This position is for a per-diem pharmacist for the pharmacy located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Allentown, PA. As a per-diem pharmacist for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy-type setting with a Monday through Friday potential schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pharmacy relationship with our health center client, including engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff.
• Provide drug-related education and act as a member of the patient care team.
• Attend clinical meetings.
• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, if applicable.
• Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, including:
  • Patient safety
  • Pharmacy professional practice
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Quality assurance
  • Customer service
  • Personnel management
  • Inventory management
  • Financial profitability
  • Loss prevention
  • Workflow management
• Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State, and Local laws regulated.
• Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware of and compliant with local facility policies.
