This Per Diem Pharmacist role covers PTO or leave for Pharmacy Managers on an intermittent basis. Travel is required to West Branch, Sandusky, Bad Axe, Port Huron, Lapeer, Saginaw, Flint, Alma, Howell, and Lansing, MI. Pharmacy hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Tour a Genoa Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Requirements

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy
• Current pharmacist license in the state where you will work
• Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Retail experience
• Long Term Care / Assisted Living experience
• Behavioral or Mental Health experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Schedule

Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Per diem shifts are intermittent to cover leave.
