About the role
We are seeking a Patient Access representative to provide exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and patients in person and via phone or video
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Assess and prioritize patient needs
- Enter and update patient demographic and financial data accurately
- Provide financial responsibility information and collect patient liabilities
- Collaborate with departments such as Financial Counseling, Scheduling, and Clinical areas to ensure smooth patient encounters
- Assist with wayfinding and hospital information
- Maintain audit accuracy standards and resolve errors proactively
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in an office or healthcare environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00am - 5:30pm on a per diem basis
- Comfort with working at multiple office locations
- Must be 18 or older
Preferred Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology

Schedule
Per diem, 8-hour shifts between 7:00am - 5:30pm.
