About the role
If you are a Registered Nurse (RN) who enjoys providing excellent nursing care, this role could be perfect for you. You'll support clients with visual impairments as they train with their guide dog at our beautiful campus in Boring, OR.
Responsibilities
- Care for clients with visual impairments, including wound, foot, and minor illness/injury treatment
- Assist with emergency situations and provide emotional support
- Transport clients to and from appointments
- Conduct medical reviews of applicants and intake of new students
- Check in with diabetic clients during their stay
- Research and present on health issues relevant to our workplace
Requirements
- Oregon RN licensure
- Minimum of three years of experience as an RN
- CPR/AED/first aid certification
- Experience in home health or school settings desirable
- Experience working with people with disabilities a plus

Pay
$41.00-$46.00/hour
Schedule
Daytime and early evening hours, with optional weekend and holiday shifts. Scheduling avoids 12-hour days and overnight work, promoting a strong work/life balance.
