Overview
As a Clinical and Patient Services Interventional Radiology Technologist at Fresenius Medical Care, you'll support and collaborate with physicians to perform interventional radiology procedures. You'll assist in preparing the patient and procedure room, set up equipment, and administer fluoroscopy during procedures.
Job Description
- Prepares and positions patients for procedures.
- Trains and assists new employees.
- Ensures medical records are accurate and complete.
- Maintains environmental integrity and ensures equipment is in proper working condition.
- Manages inventory and supplies.
- Acts as Radiation Safety Officer.
- Communicates effectively with physicians.
- Trains and assists in training new employees.
- Verifies CPT and ICD9 codes for accuracy.
Success Profile
A successful candidate will have strong management skills, prior direct patient care experience, and a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients.
