About the Role
The Per Diem Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will operate an infusion clinic to administer outpatient infusion therapy, monitor and record results for physicians, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Receive orders from physicians and schedule appointments for patients.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, check vital signs, administer therapy, monitor reactions, and report to physicians.
- Provide infusion treatments as directed by physicians.
- Monitor patients continuously to assess potential drug reactions.
- Maintain records for physicians and billing purposes.
- Review authorizations to confirm patients’ eligibility.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- At least three years of clinical experience, including training in infusion therapy.
- Organized manner to maintain schedules and generate reports in a timely fashion.
- Reassuring demeanor to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
