Per Diem ICU Registered Nurse

Role Overview

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for ICU and Telemetry in a hospital setting. This per diem position offers flexible day and night shifts, allowing nurses to select shifts that fit their schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care in acute-care environments
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain accurate electronic records
• Follow safety protocols and infection-control standards
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge instructions
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in fast-paced settings

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on assignment
