About the practice

Olympic Medical Physicians’ General Surgery Clinics are located in Port Angeles, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. OMP General Surgery seeks team-oriented surgeons to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation and care to patients presenting with general surgical problems, including critically ill patients and non-complex pediatric patients. OMP General Surgery supports Olympic Medical Center’s Level III Trauma Center designation and program.

The successful General Surgeon Physician at OMP is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited school
• Successful completion of an ACGME approved postgraduate training program in General Surgery
• Successful completion of requirements of the American Board of Surgery for certification in General Surgery

Experience

• Completion of general surgery residency
• Two years of practice in General Surgery preferred but not required

Licensure and credentials

• Board certified or eligible
• Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington
• Maintains current DEA registration
• Maintains current ACLS certification. ATLS is also recommended
• Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff

Pay

Pay Range $376,578.00 - $772,593.00
