About the role
Hartford Healthcare is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Intra-operative assisting
- Comprehensive inpatient services including daily rounds and surgical consultations
- Emergency room assessments of surgical patients
- Admissions and discharges
- Coverage of general surgery and orthopedics with some operative assisting of other surgical specialties
Qualifications
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: Physician Assistant
- Experience: 2+ years’ experience in general surgery
