Per Diem Emergency Department RN

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem provides high-quality patient care by conducting assessments, supporting medical decisions, and implementing treatments to ensure positive patient outcomes. Working under close supervision, the nurse collaborates with the healthcare team, communicates effectively, and seeks guidance from senior professionals for complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations
• Analyze patient data
• Adhere to clinical protocols
• Coordinate care to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred)
• At least 1 year of RN experience, including in a clinical specialty recognized by national nursing organizations
• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or AHA
