Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, and skilled nursing care community. We are dedicated to our residents and team members and are currently seeking highly motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Responsibilities

• Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
• Affords assistance with activities of daily living and/or provides all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
• Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible.
• Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Pay and Schedule

Hour rate for per diem / PRN: $25 to $28 with shift differential.
