Certified Nursing Assistant CNA (Per Diem)
Alvita Care is seeking compassionate, reliable, and qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for per‑diem opportunities throughout Connecticut. Preference is given to CNAs whose first language is English and who are proficient in an additional language such as Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Haitian Creole, Polish, or others. Qualifications
- Valid CNA certificate in the state of Connecticut
- Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain them
- Minimum of 6 months CNA or healthcare experience
- Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
- Successful completion of Alvita Care’s onboarding process
Responsibilities
- Provide care in Memory Care, Palliative, and ADL settings
- Assist with transfers and other patient mobility needs
- Work flexible hours, including part‑time and per‑diem schedules
- Cover 6‑, 8‑, or 12‑hour day and night shifts
- Availability Monday‑Friday is preferred; weekends are a plus
Schedule
Flexible scheduling options are available, including part‑time, per‑diem, and various shift lengths (6, 8, or 12 hours). Both day and night shifts are offered, with a preference for Monday‑Friday availability and weekend work considered a plus.
Pay
Weekly paycheck issued on Fridays via direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check. Inquire about the Tap Check option.
