Per Diem Attending Optometrist for Temporary Coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at Charles River Community Health
• Potentially participate in the teaching and precepting of optometry students
• Demonstrate a commitment to educating future optometrists in high-quality care and interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Massachusetts licensure with TPA+ certification, including glaucoma and anti-infective privileges
• Advanced professional credentials, such as residency training or equivalent clinical experience
• Appropriate credentials for a temporary clinical faculty appointment
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical teaching
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and proficiency in languages other than English are preferred, but not required
