Job Summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Louisiana-licensed Optometrist to provide care 2–3 days per month at an established outpatient clinic in Alexandria, LA. This opportunity offers $1,100 per visit, adding $2,200–$3,300 in monthly income while requiring only a few weekdays each month.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and make appropriate treatment recommendations
• Document patient encounters appropriately
• Communicate recommendations with the clinic's care team
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to an aging population

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted Louisiana Optometry License
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Dependable and comfortable working independently
• Experience with senior or medically complex populations is helpful, but not required

About the Role

At Comprehensive Mobile Care, you’ll provide optometry services inside an established, community-based outpatient clinic serving primarily senior patients. This is not a retail or high-volume optometry environment. Our providers work within a coordinated care model where the emphasis is on thorough, patient-centered care rather than rushing from one appointment to the next. CMC coordinates the equipment, supplies, scheduling, and administrative logistics needed for your visits, allowing you to walk in, provide care, and leave the operational work to us.
