Per Diem Adult Medical Homes Direct Support Professional

About the role

KenCrest is seeking Direct Support Professionals to participate in the care of the residents in their Adult Community Medical Homes (CMH).

Responsibilities

• Assist our residents with all activities of daily living
• Participate in and carry out developmental activities
• Implement goal plans and behavioral management programs
• Auxiliary with meal preparation
• Perform general housekeeping functions
• Provide transportation for social and medical appointments
• Offer overall support to the residents and the program

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid and current driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (required)
• Driver's License, insurance and registration must be aligned with state of permanent residence
• Experience with medically fragile individuals and/or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
• Criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
