Per Diem 2nd shift Inpatient Phlebotomist

About the role

Provides specimen collection, registration and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics. High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid Michigan driver's license
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred
• Six months Phlebotomy experience required, including experience from school
• Must be able to type 40 words per minute
