PEPI Manager - Merger Integration & Carve-outs (Open to all US locations)
About the role
A&M’s PEPI practice focuses on improving operating results at private equity portfolio companies. The MI&C service line provides a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value, covering pre-deal operational and synergy reviews, 'Day 1' planning and post-deal implementation, restructuring and turnaround plans, and operational risk identification.
Responsibilities
- Identify key client business issues and determine client needs using innovative approaches.
- Evaluate and validate analysis and develop recommendations for the client.
- Lead workstreams or focus areas within the Integration Management Office (IMO) such as synergies, TSA, blueprinting, Day 1 readiness, executive reporting, integration roadmap, communications, organizational design.
- Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements involving strategic planning, operational optimization, back office consolidation, supply chain integration, IT/reporting integration, customer and channel management, and performance improvement assessments.
- Drive performance improvement in key areas and track progress against Day 1 and Day 100 objectives.
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
- Experience in integration planning and divestitures (not required).
- Deep functional expertise in finance & accounting operations, HR/Organizational design, leadership and stakeholder involvement, communications planning and management, supply chain/operations, Salesforce effectiveness, marketing optimization, pricing/margin/mix optimization, knowledge management and transfer.
- Success in planning and driving revenue and profitability growth initiatives.
- Experience in program management and leadership.

Full-time positions and part-time positions with over 30 hours per week are eligible for healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and paid time off including vacation, personal days, sick time, federal holidays, and parental leave. The salary range is $125,000 - $190,000 annually, with a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
