PEP, Transmission Coordinator

The Opportunity

The Transmission Coordinator supports Transmission and Acquisition operations in a fast-paced live environment. This role ensures clear, reliable, and timely delivery of content across news, entertainment, and sports coverage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in live-to-air television operations
• Experience in a TOC/NOC or comparable operations environment with responsibility for audio, video, data quality, and continuity
• Hands-on familiarity with transmission facility hardware, including LiveU, satellite receivers, antennas, IP/ASI encoders and decoders, and video plant router control panels
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a quick-turn, evolving live production environment
• Strong critical thinking, diagnostic ability, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts, overtime, relief coverage, breaking news, and a 24/7/365 operation as needed
