Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
- Develop functional architectures and models aligned with evolving business needs.
- Conduct process improvement reviews across system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel.
- Map business processes to PeopleSoft HCM capabilities.
- Ensure alignment between applications and business requirements; collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
- Define data flows and ensure integration across business processes and systems.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with stakeholders.
- Cookordinate project deliverables with MTAIT, Performance Management, and other internal groups.
- Partner with designers to complete system enhancement designs.
- Design and develop HCM reports; build moderate to complex PeopleSoft queries.
- Write complex SQL (DML/DQL) scripts for reporting and data analysis.
- Participate in end-to-end and system integration testing.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and deliverable planning for system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years PeopleSoft HCM functional and technical experience (v9.2+).
- Deep expertise across modules Human Resources, Compensation, Position Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition / Candidate Gateway, ESS/Client.
- Proven experience with full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations (design, build, configuration, testing, deployment).
- Strong SQL (DML/DQL) and PeopleSoft Query development experience (10+ years).
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and documentation skills.
- Experience reviewing project deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Test Framework (preferred).
- Experience with state government projects (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation.
- Strong understanding of relational database design.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
