PeopleSoft ERP Systems Architect
Responsibilities
- Completing custom programming, configuration, event mapping, and other technical assignments as directed.
- Following Project standards for all assignments.
- Use and share lessons learned and best practices associated with the area of ERP that may promote efficiency and help to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Serve as an ERP and/or PeopleSoft subject matter expert, which includes:
- Providing Solution recommendations;
- Evaluating designs and configurations for alternatives for the Financials and Payroll Major Implementation.
- Complete knowledge transfer/training activities to identified parties, as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete transition services, including participating in lessons-learned meetings; creating lessons-learned; and providing all documents, software, software licenses, and other Project artifacts to the Project team as it relates to the work performed under the PO.
- Assist the Project team to trouble shoot and resolve issues in the production system as requested.
- Serve as part of the Project's Hyper-Care team assisting to expedite quick resolution of issues and stabilization of the system.
- Serve as part of the emergency back-up technical team to keep the production system stabilized in case the SSI vendor's contract is terminated or expires (emergency back-up activation event) prior to execution of a new contract.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing activities directly related to ERP.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple levels, from leadership (e.g., CIO), to technical and functional staff.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.
- Experience implementing PeopleSoft or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (or legacy versions of this solution).

- Experience working with the State or with other state governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
- Experience implementing
- Data warehouse/business intelligence solutions
- Financials and Payroll implementations
- Data cleansing and conversion
- Data integration
- System, integration and end-user testing
- Cutover planning and execution
- Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.62+ and fluid page development.
