About the role
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Application System Administrator. This position is W2 only; no C2C or sponsorship is available now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform PeopleSoft and PeopleTools installations, upgrades, and patching using Change Assistant and the latest patching methods (PUM).
- Apply Oracle-delivered patches, including DPK, for PeopleSoft 9.2 applications.
- Administer PeopleSoft security, including user administration, development tools, and integration tools.
- Conduct system restores, refreshes, and cloning.
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Debug and tune PeopleSoft applications and server virtualization environments.
- Understand and work with system application architecture, database schemas, and development tools.
- Utilize web service technologies, MIM, XML technologies, SQL Server, and SQL.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, building relationships and addressing business needs with strong customer service skills.
- Work independently, embrace change, and focus on continuous improvement and results.
- Mentor and coach associates, providing feedback and aligning activities with departmental and company goals.
Requirements
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 applications and PeopleTools.
- Knowledge of Phire (preferred) and experience with the latest patching methods (PUM) from Oracle, including DPK.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft security, server virtualization, debugging, and tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server and SQL.
- Moderate understanding of web service technologies and familiarity with XML technologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks.

Pay
$82,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
