About the role

As the lead for the Workday ecosystem, you will drive system configuration, enhancements, and deployment efforts. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for the HR Technology team and Centers of Excellence (COEs), responsible for researching and configuring technical solutions. You will play an essential role in deploying and maintaining HelloFresh’s enterprise HR tech stack, improving employee experience and organizational productivity through consistent processes, tools, and support while gaining visibility into our global HR technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday technical implementation and enhancement activities for modules including Time Tracking and Absence (strong hands-on configuration experience is mandatory), Benefits (US), Payroll (US), and interdependencies between the modules; serve as system administrator.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology peers, Field HR, Shared Services teams, and Benefits and Payroll teams to optimize Workday configurations, business processes, data management, security architecture, and reporting.
  • Partner with third-party technical consultants, IT, and cross-functional teams to configure systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and defects with exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in the design, planning, implementation, and support of business process configuration, security, and administration.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of HR technology by understanding system capabilities, staying informed on product trends, and engaging with the Workday community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Information Systems and Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of configuration and administration experience with advanced subject matter expertise in Workday Time Tracking and Absence (mandatory), Benefits, and Payroll (US).
  • Experience in Time Tracking implementation preferred (1 full life cycle is strongly preferred).
  • Solid understanding of US Payroll, GL, regulations/rules, including time calculations configuration, time calculation tags, shift differentials, attendance points, eligibility rules, and downstream impacts to payroll and other systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge supporting Workday configuration, including business processes, notifications, condition rules, custom reports, EIBs, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with rolling out bi-annual Workday releases.
  • Familiarity with agile development frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organizational and planning skills, including the ability to work reliably and efficiently under demanding deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay

New York Pay Range: $101,430—$117,300 USD
