About The Role
The People Relations Coordinator – Corporate & Retail supports the organization's commitment to fostering positive associate relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies, employment/labor laws, and HR best practices. This role assists with the intake and investigation of associate concerns, conflict resolution, and promotes a respectful and inclusive workplace culture. They will handle associate inquiries, interpret policies, and coordinate resolution processes to foster a productive work environment. The People Relations Coordinator will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and will thrive by demonstrating attention to detail, problem solving abilities, strong organizational skills, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a first point of contact for People Relations inquiries and concerns, escalating as necessary.
- Aid in the investigations of associate concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, conflicts, performance concerns, and other workplace issues.
- Aid in the preparation of documentation such as disciplinary notices, investigation summaries, and associate correspondence.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Provide guidance to associates and leaders on procedures, expectations, and ensuring consistent interpretation and application of company policies.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Field Leaders on associate performance and behavior concerns.
- Maintain trends in people relations issues and provide reports and recommendations to HR leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Assist with exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track and analyze People Relations cases to identify trends, risks, or recurring issues; prepare reports and share insights with HR leadership.
Experience What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years of related Human Resources experience, prior Retail experience a plus supporting corporate functions.
Additional Information
- Prior Employee/People Relations experience preferred.
- Education Bachelor’s Degree (preferred not required) or equivalent work experience.
- Please list any licenses or certifications required to perform this job: PHR (preferred not required).
Knowledge/Skills Required
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws to ensure compliance.
- Experience in conflict resolution and workplace investigations.
- Ability to facilitate training on conflict resolution and people relations topics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, HRIS system experience (Workday preferred), MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), ability to think critically in areas of grey.
Experience Required
- Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a retail setting.
Experience Preferred
- PHR certification.
Pay Range
$60,800---$87,800 PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
