About the role

This is not a traditional HR coordinator position. You will play a central role in helping us attract, hire, onboard, and support the talented people who power our business. You will work closely with operational leaders in both the United States and the Philippines and help establish scalable people processes for a fast-growing international organization.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
    • Manage full-cycle recruiting for Philippines-based positions
    • Sources candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
    • Reviews applications and screens candidates
    • Conducts phone and video interviews
    • Collaborates with hiring managers to coordinate interviews
    • Manages candidate communications throughout the hiring process
    • Prepares offer letters and hiring documentation
    • Maintains candidate records within our applicant tracking system
    • Supports recruiting efforts for selected US-based positions
    • Builds talent pipelines for future hiring needs
    • Develops relationships with universities, training programs, and recruiting partners
  • People Operations
    • Collaborates with hiring managers to coordinate onboarding for new hires
    • Supports employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, and offboarding
    • Aids in employee engagement initiatives and team events
    • Responds to employee questions and requests
    • Supports performance review and feedback processes
    • Assists with leadership development and training initiatives
    • Helps maintain a positive and professional employee experience
  • HR Administration & Compliance
    • Maintains accurate employee files and records
    • Supports payroll coordination and documentation
    • Supports government reporting and compliance requirements
    • Administers company policies and procedures
    • Prepares reports and workforce metrics
    • Assists with audits and documentation requests
    • Creates and maintains process documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, people operations, or a related field
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Experience conducting candidate interviews and screenings
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • PREFERRED:
    • Experience supporting US-based organizations
    • Experience recruiting customer support, operations, administrative, technology, or professional services roles
    • Experience in BPO, shared services, technology, or high-growth organizations
    • Familiarity with Philippine labor and employment practices
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
