About The Role The role owns core people operations, managing the employee lifecycle, HRIS administration, and compliance across multiple states to ensure a seamless experience. The People Operations Specialist partners with finance and department leads to optimize HR workflows, scale benefits programs, and maintain robust data integrity within people systems. Key Responsibilities Administer full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and data management in BambooHR and WorkdayEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all operating regionsPartner with payroll to ensure accurate monthly processing, benefit deductions, and compensation changesManage employee inquiries regarding benefits, PTO, leave of absence, and company policies with high empathy and responsivenessMaintain the internal knowledge base, employee handbook, and people operations documentationAnalyze people metrics and produce reports on headcount, turnover, and engagement trends What We Are Looking For 3-5 years of experience in people operations, HR generalist, or HR administration roles within a technology environmentHands-on experience with modern HRIS and payroll platforms such as BambooHR, Rippling, or WorkdayStrong working knowledge of US employment law, benefits administration, and multi-state complianceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experienceBonus: Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) and experience scaling remote teams
