People Operations Associate Generalist

Location: West Coast Remote Work Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm PST, Remote Duration: 6 Months Compensation: $40/hr Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Associate Generalist to join our remote team. In this role, you will support HR operations by managing employee requests, executing core HR processes, and collaborating across teams to improve the employee experience. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for streamlining HR workflows within a dynamic, globally distributed environment.Key Responsibilities:Intake and triage employee requests via Jira, ensuring timely and accurate responses.Execute tier 1 People Operations processes, including new hire onboarding, benefits administration, talent acquisition support, and employee engagement initiatives.Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, exercising critical thinking on undefined tier 2 processes.Support interview coordination using scheduling tools like Guide, facilitating a seamless hiring process.Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement new HR processes and services.Partner with People Operations Process Specialists to identify process improvements, recommend updates, and develop automations for greater efficiency.Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining HR workflows and boosting team effectiveness.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or Recruiting Coordinator roles.Proven experience working with tools including Jira, Workday, Guide, Ashby/Greenhouse, Slack, and G-Suite.Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce and managing high-volume HR tasks.Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate across international teams.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.Ability to work remotely and independently within a global team environment.Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience in a shared service HR environment with high-volume interview scheduling.Knowledge of HRIS and automation tools to optimize operational workflows.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting.At Premier Talent Partners, we are a people-centered recruitment firm with a strong focus on skills-based hiring.
