People & Culture Business Partner
About the role
The People & Culture Business Partner supports Tomorrow.io’s Golden, CO office, specifically focusing on the innovative Space & Sensors department. Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, this role involves designing and executing end-to-end strategies to enhance employee experience, engagement, and performance. The position is part of a highly collaborative global P&C team and plays a key role in embedding a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
Responsibilities
- Coach and advise managers on talent assessments, professional development, and organizational planning; guide managers and employees through employee engagement action planning, performance reviews, promotions, and annual benefits enrollment.
- Serve as an advocate for employees, providing guidance, support, and resources.
- Integrate AI tools and agents into everyday people operations to optimize efficiency and empower teams with next-gen technology.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that support the company's values and promote a positive and inclusive culture - specifically own and drive our DEI initiatives and programs.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and attract top talent to the organization.
- Drive change management initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
- Leverage data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
- Partner with the People & Culture team to ensure that HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; PHR/SHRM-CP designations a plus!
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience with focus as an HRBP, preferably in the space industry.
- Experience and excitement in implementing AI initiatives to streamline, optimize, and progress the HR function.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of HR best practices, BUT the ability to be creative and willing to think outside the box!
- Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal policy and requirements, ensuring that Tomorrow.io remains compliant as we grow and scale.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, employees, and HR colleagues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data and metrics.
- Experience with change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Experience in a Startup environment is a MUST!

Pay
Anticipated annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 subject to local market and candidates skills and experience.
Schedule
This role requires working from our location in Golden, CO approx. 3 days per week.
