About the role

Nefab is seeking a Packaging Specialist to join our team. This position will focus on optimizing packaging solutions for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement packaging strategies that enhance product protection and reduce environmental impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new packaging solutions.
• Conduct life cycle assessments to evaluate the sustainability of packaging materials and practices.
• Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on packaging optimization techniques.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to packaging and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in packaging design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of material science and its application in packaging.
• Experience with sustainability metrics and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in packaging software such as SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and packaging regulations.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings effectively.
