People Analytics & BI Analyst (Temporary, Part-Time) (2428)

This is a temporary, part-time role focused on developing and improving Power BI dashboards, reports, and data solutions that support HR decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with HRIS, Total Rewards, Payroll, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs, organize data from multiple sources, and deliver accurate, accessible, and actionable workforce insights.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries and develop Power Query transformations
• Create data models and DAX calculations
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies
• Improve recurring reporting processes
• Document data sources, calculations, and refresh procedures
• Provide project updates and transfer knowledge to the HRIS team for long-term maintenance

Requirements

• Associate Degree
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI or Azure certification
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling
• Experience with HRIS and related data sources

Skills

• Advanced SQL and Power Query
• DAX calculations and data modeling
• Data validation and discrepancy investigation
• Documentation and knowledge transfer
• Familiarity with HRIS, Total Rewards, and Payroll data

Physical Requirements

This position primarily involves sedentary office work with extended computer use, including keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Frequent visual attention to detailed data
• Regular verbal and written communication with team members and stakeholders
• Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting or carrying light office materials
