Pennie Enrollment Specialist
About the role
Join Adagio Health as a Pennie Enrollment Specialist and help empower communities and individuals in Southwest Pennsylvania to access affordable health insurance through Pennie, Pennsylvania's official health insurance marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Guide individuals and families through health insurance options available through Pennie, Medicaid, and CHIP
- Conduct enrollment appointments in-person, by phone, and at community events throughout Southwest Pennsylvania
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, social service agencies, and healthcare providers to expand enrollment reach
- Host and participate in outreach events, health fairs, and community education sessions
- Train community partners on eligibility requirements and the enrollment process
- Maintain accurate client records and produce timely documentation and reports demonstrating program impact
- Travel regularly within the 10-county service region to meet clients and partners
Requirements
- Degree in social work, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field-or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with health insurance enrollment, including Pennie, ACA marketplace platforms, Medicaid, and/or CHIP
- Demonstrated expertise in eligibility determination and consumer assistance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a regional caseload independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across the service region
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred-additional compensation may apply
- Background in case management, care navigation, or community health work
- Experience working with underserved or diverse populations
- Familiarity with FQHC or Title X-funded healthcare environments

Pay
$23-$25/hour * Commensurate with experience
