Eligibility & interview requirements

• Eligibility is limited. Interview is required.
• Interviews scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis after submitting the application.
• Current Busch Gardens and Water Country USA ambassadors are not eligible to participate.
• To be eligible, you must attend the interview event on September 12, 2026.
• Interviews will be held at the Veterans Employment Center, 600 Thimble Shoals Blvd, Suite 210, Newport News, VA 23606 (located in the Wells Fargo building, on the corner of Jefferson Ave and Thimble Shoals Blvd).

Requirements

• At least 16 years old
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to train on and properly use protective gear
• Ability to walk and stand extensively
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions
• Comfortable working around water and animals
• Previous guest service experience highly desirable

Pay

13.00 - 15.00 USD (select positions tip eligible)
