Penetrant Inspector / NDT Trainee - 3rd Shift

Maintain the Penetrant/Magnetic Particle Inspection Area

• Maintain inspection booths and other equipment as necessary.

Inspect Castings

• Accept or reject castings according to customer or military specifications.
• Perform inspections as required by the purchase order, shop card, or blueprint.

Report Issues

Reports problems with non-conforming material to the Quality Manager.

Assist in Other Quality Functions

• Affirmatively assist in other Quality functions as required.
• Maintain accurate logs of all inspections performed and process logs.
• Work in other areas as required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Strong mathematical, measurement, and analytical skills.
• Able to work closely with others.

Certification

• Certified per SNT-TC-1A Level II by a qualified Level III.

Training

Up to and including three months for an individual with the specified trade knowledge or education to learn the job duties involved, perform the work and attain the quality standards.
