About the role
Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company specializing in aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions for aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture, and repair critical turbine components for various industries including aerospace, energy, and defense.
Responsibilities
- Perform UT Equipment calibrations, marking product with data point locations, operation of foot pedal to store data in software program, review of data for out of tolerance readings, and cleaning product when test has been completed.
- Candidates shall be able to complete 24 hours of classroom training and 275 hours of work experience/on the job training. Passing a general exam, specific exam, and practical exam is required for certification.
- Ability to read and interpret documents written in English, such as safety rules, general standard procedures, and part specific work instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, inspection manuals and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to use sound judgement and make decisions based on all available information. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
