Pellet Mill Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials, transforming them into final high-quality products. Responsibilities include operating machinery and equipment, packaging products, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and ensure safe practices for self and others.
• Arrive on time, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitask and keep up with production demands while following quality standards and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate with leads and management to accomplish daily work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; always respectful.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, including areas where dust and chemicals may be present.

Pay

$22.90 per hour. Fully trained rate: $23.90 plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
