About the role
A 6-month hybrid contract opportunity in Trenton, NJ for a PEGA Senior Systems Architect. The role involves evaluating existing systems and user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.
Responsibilities
- Attain a complete understanding of requirements and key PEGA concepts such as rule resolution, class structure design, and reusability.
- Collaborate with clients and teams to provide technical expertise and develop solutions that meet business and system requirements.
- Develop and/or modify programs, conduct unit testing, create documentation, and participate in system testing with business analysts or users.
- Write system requirements based on received business requirements.
- Implement functionality ranging from high-quality user experiences to complex case management requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience in ALL phases of Object-Oriented software development, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- PEGA Senior Systems Architect Certification.
- Exposure to technologies such as WebSphere or WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL.
- 6+ years of work experience as a PEGA Architect integrating with customer technology tools.
- 6+ years of PEGA Administration and Security experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing solutions utilizing PEGA rules and procedures.
- 5+ years of Application design/Case design experience.
- 5+ years of Data Modeling experience.
- 5+ years of experience automating Business Rules/Business Policies.
- 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale, business-centric systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, with technical and non-technical personnel.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of WebSphere or WebLogic experience.
- 6+ years of J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java) experience.
- 6+ years of MS/SQL or DB2 experience.
