About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Pega application design, architecture, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Pega Smart Dispute Framework and financial services domain, with the ability to drive end-to-end Pega implementations using Pega's Center-Out approach. This role requires technical leadership, client-facing communication, solution architecture ownership, and the ability to mentor delivery teams while ensuring alignment with Pega best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-grade Pega applications.
  • Drive end-to-end implementation using Pega's Center-Out methodology.
  • Provide technical leadership across configuration, integration, performance, security, and rollout activities.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable Pega solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, reusable design patterns, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Mentor developers and guide teams to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal rework.
  • Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production readiness activities.
  • Contribute to solution discussions involving Pega Blueprint, Smart Dispute, GenAI, and Agentic capabilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Pega design, architecture, and build.
  • PCLSA certification with Part 2 completed.
  • Strong experience with Pega Smart Dispute Framework.
  • Financial services/banking domain experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega 7.x, Pega 8.x, and Pega Infinity.
  • Strong expertise in Case Management, Business Rules, and Decisioning.
  • Experience with Data Modelling and Data Pages.
  • Working knowledge of UI Kit, Cosmos, or Constellation UI.
  • Strong integration experience with REST, SOAP, JMS, File, and Database integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Security and Access Control in Pega.
  • Experience with Pega build, performance tuning, rollout planning, optimization, and implementation best practices.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, technical leadership, and people management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Pega Blueprint.
  • Exposure to Pega GenAI and Agentic capabilities.
  • Experience working in high-velocity delivery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and solution governance skills.
