Pega Application Engineer
Job Summary
Support and implement Pega Constellation solutions for business projects. Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable Pega applications. Develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document software components. Interpret technical designs and create/oversee technical specifications. Lead and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards. Manage technical resources, risks, and tasks within project scope, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resources. Work closely with QA to create test plans and resolve issues. Contribute to technical architecture, feasibility reviews, and process improvement initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise and technical direction to development teams. Communicate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and team members. Drive best practices in software development lifecycle and DevOps tool usage. Promote knowledge sharing, self-development, and continuous learning. Participate in training delivery for software delivery teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 5+ years Java/J2EE web application development
- Pega Constellation experience (SDKs, custom components)
- DevOps tools experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Pega CLSA certification (plus)
