About the role

Provide academic assistance to fellow students. Serves as a resource to help ACD students access services to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Overall GPA of at least 2.75
• Must have taken the course they are tutoring (or higher-level course) with a grade of "B" or better
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the Alamo Colleges District colleges or another accredited institution of higher education

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience as a tutor
• Successful completion of 15 semester credit hours
• Experience with college level Science subjects such as: Chemistry, Physics

Schedule

• Hours per Week: 19
• May work until 6pm Monday-Thursday
