About the role

Provide academic assistance to fellow students. Serves as a resource to help ACD students access services to ensure student success.

Location: Tutoring Services, 1201 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148, United States. Posting closes 10/24/2026 at 6:00 pm CST.

Requirements

• Overall GPA of at least 2.75
• Must have taken the course they are tutoring (or higher‑level course) with a grade of “B” or better
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the Alamo Colleges District colleges or another accredited institution of higher education

Qualifications

• Experience as a tutor
• Successful completion of 15 semester credit hours
• Experience with college‑level English and Writing courses

Benefits

This is a part‑time, temporary position; not eligible for benefits.

Pay

Hourly position.

Schedule

• 19 hours per week
• May work up to 6 pm on Monday‑Thursday (outside regular M‑F 8 am‑5 pm)
